WD Gold with Intel RST RAID 0 Problem:
First time you access a file or folder it takes forever. After that everything is fine.
Solution: Deactivate Link Power Management LPM from RST!
This also happens if you use Sleep Mode.
Alternative: KeepAliveHD a free tool that writes a small file every X minutes to the array.
It works great.
