If you've ever listened to an interview with some german VW Manager, Football Star or Actor, you'll know what I mean. Their English ist just terrible. Like on an infant level. Full of "false friends" translations like become instead of get (from german bekommen) And their pronunciation makes it plain and simple incomprehensible.
If you're german and disagree, please speak out the following:
See? You suck.
But why is that? They do have speech labs with native speakers on tape in german high schools and they do a lot of exchanges with the UK and US. Just a inherited inability for foreign languages?
